Hamilton voert tijdenlijst aan op slotdag test Monza

McLaren-coureur Lewis Hamilton heeft momenteel de eerste plek in handen tijdens de laatste testdag van deze week op het circuit van Monza. De Engelsman is een halve seconde sneller dan Ferrari-coureur Kimi Raikkonen, maar is nog wel drie tienden langzamer dan de snelste tijd van gisteren van Nick Heidfeld.

Problemen zijn er vandaag voor diens teamgenoot bij BMW Sauber, Robert Kubica. De Pool reed pas dertien rondjes en bezet met een 1:24.370 de laatste plaats. Force India-coureur Giancarlo Fisichella maakte het meeste gebruik van het circuit in de ochtendsessie, de Italiaan reed 63 ronden.
