Williams geeft sponsors meeste waar voor hun geld

De sponsors Williams krijgen relatief gezien de meeste aandacht, zo wees onderzoek van Formula Money uit. Met name Allianz krijgt waar voor haar geld. Het Duitse bedrijf werd per uitgegeven miljoen het meeste genoemd in de media.

De Nederlandse hoofdsponsor van Renault, ING, kreeg numeriek gezien de meeste aandacht. De naam van de firma dook vorig jaar in 883 artikelen over de Formule 1 op. Andere veel genoemde sponsors zijn Vodafone, Shell, FIAT en AT&T.

Het team van Ferrari ontving vorig seizoen het meeste sponsorgeld. Geldschieters maakten ruim 200 miljoen dollar over op de rekening van de Italiaanse renstal.
