Vettel: "Ik ben niet de nieuwe Michael Schumacher"

Scuderia Toro Rosso-coureur Sebastian Vettel wordt nogal eens genoemd als opvolger van zevenvoudig wereldkampioen Michael Schumacher, met name in Duitsland. De jonge Duitser voelt zich vereerd, maar ziet zichzelf niet als de nieuwe 'Schumi'.

Vettel: De vergelijking vind ik een grote eer. Ik heb hem als achtjarig jongetje aangemoedigd. Maar elke coureur heeft zijn eigen stijl en elk persoon zijn eigen karakter. Ik ben dus niet de tweede Michael Schumacher, ik ben de eerste Sebastian Vettel.
