Rosberg ziet kansen vanaf vijfde startplaats

Nico Rosberg denkt dat hij goede kansen heeft in de race van morgen. De jonge Duitser zit er de hele training goed bij en eindigt uiteindelijk als vijfde. Rosberg heeft geen heel groot compromis gesloten in de afstelling en meent ook op droog een goede kans te hebben.

Rosberg: "Ik ben egr blij met dit resultaat. Ik was in staat constant voorin mee te rijden. Voor morgen hoop ik op beter weer, want het was af en toe best gevaarlijk door aquaplaning. Uiteraard wil ik ook mijn goede startplaats niet verpesten, dus ik hoop op beter weer als vandaag."

Teamgenoot Kazuki Nakajima kende een minder goede sessie. De Japanner slaagt er niet in een vrij gat te vinden in Q1 en eindigt als achttiende. Nakajima: "Het was een teleurstellende sessie voor mij. Vanmorgen was ik in gelijke omstandigheden vijfde. Dat maakt het uiteindelijke resultaat des te teleurstellender."
