Sebastian Vettel kan forse salarisverhoging tegemoet zien

Sebastian Vettel gaat in 2009 ruim twee keer zoveel verdienen. De kersverse Grand Prix-winnaar staat dit jaar volgens Motorsport Aktuell voor 600.000 euro op de loonlijst bij Scuderia Toro Rosso, volgend jaar krijgt hij bij Red Bull Racing een jaarsalaris van 1,5 miljoen euro, zo bericht de Duitse krant Bild.

Vettel is helemaal zelf verantwoordelijk voor zijn contracten. De jonge Duitser heeft namelijk geen manager en maakt alleen gebruik van een jurist bij het opzetten van een verbintenis. En ondanks aandringen van Willi Weber, die de zaken van Michael Schumacher behartigde, blijft Vettel bij die zelfstandige aanpak. Ik ga niks veranderen, helemaal niets. Ik zie niet in waarom ik nu opeens voor een andere werkwijze zou moeten kiezen.
