Vettel benoemd tot motorsporter van het jaar in Duitsland

Scuderia Toro Rosso-coureur Sebastian Vettel heeft in de nasleep van zijn eerste Grand Prix-zege een award in de wacht gesleept. De Duitse autosportbond heeft de jonge Duitser benoemd tot Motorsportler des Jahres, oftewel motorsporter van het jaar.

De officiële prijsuitreiking heeft op 6 december plaats in Frankfurt. In 2001 werd de toen 14-jarige Vettel door de Duitse autosportbond ook al gekroond tot motorsporter van het jaar bij de junioren.
