Suzuka overweegt avondrace te organiseren

Dit jaar vindt de Grand Prix van Japan nog plaats op de Fuji Speedway, vanaf volgend jaar wordt de race om en om op dat circuit en Suzuka gehouden. De laatstgenoemde baan zou overwegen om van de Grand Prix van Japan een avondrace te maken.

Bernie Ecclestone liet in Singapore al doorschemeren dat Japan het doelwit voor de volgende avondrace is. Suzuka is sinds de vorige Formule 1-race die het organiseerde flink verbouwd en volgens Motorsport Aktuell speelt de circuitleiding met het idee voor een race onder kunstlicht.
