Timo Glock heeft zijn doelen voor 2008 al bereikt

Voor Toyota-coureur Timo Glock is het seizoen 2008 al geslaagd. De Duitser begon zijn eerste volledige jaargang in de Formule 1 stroef, maar boekte vooral in de tweede helft van het seizoen mooie resultaten. De GP2-kampioen van 2007 scoorde tot nu toe twintig punten en bezet daarmee de tiende plaats in het kampioenschap.

Glock: Mijn doel voor dit seizoen was om minstens twintig punten te pakken en met drie races te gaan heb ik daar al aan voldaan. Dat is mooi. Ik wist dat ik aan het begin veel moest leren, maar ik ben tevreden met de progressie die ik heb doorgemaakt en het gaat gewoon goed. Vooraf begreep ik ook wel dat het moeilijk zou zijn om meteen het tempo van mijn teamgenoot Jarno Trulli te rijden, maar ik hoopte dat ik in de tweede helft van het seizoen me met hem zou kunnen meten en dat is ook het geval.
