Sutil gelooft in goede race door hoge topsnelheid

Adrian Sutil, coureur voor het Force India-team haalde wederom de eerste schifting niet. De Duitser in Indiaas-Nederlandse dienst wist zich slechts als voorlaatste te kwalificeren voor de Grand Prix van Japan maar troefde dus wel teamgenoot Fisichella af. Sutil denkt dat hij er dicht bij was.

Adrian Sutil na zijn kwalificatie te Fuji: "We waren vandaag weer erg dicht een succesje. Ik ben best tevreden met mijn prestatie, ik reed heel wat goede ronden en vooral de laatste ging ik echt op het randje. Het was helaas niet goed genoeg voor mij en het team."

"Ik denk dat we niet beter kunnen. We zaten slechts één seconde van de pole position af. Het zit allemaal zo dicht bij elkaar. Ik heb zin in de race. We moeten zien wat we daar kunnen presteren. Ik verwacht er wel wat van. Onze rechte lijn snelheid is hoog, we gaan dus erg hard op het rechte stuk. Ik zie dus wel wat inhaalmogelijkheden", aldus Sutil.
