Glock: "Ik kijk uit naar een nog beter seizoen in 2009"

Toyota-coureur Timo Glock is tevreden met wat hij dit seizoen heeft laten zien. In zijn eerste volledige seizoen scoorde de debutant tot nu toe 22 punten, twee meer dan de Duitser zichzelf ten doel had gesteld. Glock: Ik heb er enorm van genoten.

Hij vervolgt: Het was een seizoen met hoogte- en dieptepunten. Ik heb een paar keer pech gehad, maar over het algemeen heb ik een goede stijgende lijn laten zien. Dat ik al twee punten meer heb dan mijn doel van twintig punten is alleen maar positief.

Mijn ambitie is echter om aan de top te komen. Daarom leg ik mezelf altijd druk op, maar het team heeft me altijd heel erg gesteund. Toyota is professioneel en heeft me heel goed geholpen. Het is goed om te weten dat ze achter me staan en ik kijk uit naar een nog sterker seizoen in 2009.
