Force India wil motorleverancier voor 2009 snel onthullen

Force India-eigenaar Vijah Mallya hoopt zo snel mogelijk rond te komen met een leverancier voor motoren en KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) voor volgend seizoen. De Indiase ondernemer is in vergevorderde onderhandelingen met McLaren-Mercedes, maar contracten zijn nog niet getekend. Momenteel is Ferrari nog de partner van Force India.

Mallya: Zoals veel media al berichtten, bekijken we momenteel ons pakket voor volgend jaar en ik hoop binnen niet al te lange tijd een overeenkomst bekend te kunnen maken. Ik zal ervoor zorgen dat mijn team de best mogelijke leverancier voor motor, aandrijving en KERS krijgt, zodat we een goede start richting 2009 en punten, waar we dit seizoen nog van verstokt bleven, kunnen halen.
