Massa: "Ferrari altijd goed op Interlagos, ik weet niet waarom"

Ferrari-coureur Felipe Massa is afhankelijk van misstappen bij concurrent Lewis Hamilton van McLaren voor de titel. Over de prestaties van zijn eigen renstal op het circuit van Interlagos in Sao Paulo hoeft de Braziliaan zich geen zorgen te maken. Ferrari is altijd sterk in Brazilië, zonder dat daar een aanwijsbare reden voor is.

Ook Massa weet niet hoe het komt. Op de een of andere manier is Ferrari altijd goed op Interlagos, ik weet ook niet waarom. Toch blijft het onvoorspelbaar hoe het komende weekend zich zal ontvouwen. Ik sta voor een zwaardere opgave dan Lewis, maar mijn opdracht is ook veel eenvoudiger. Ik moet gewoon winnen en hopelijk eindigt mijn teamgenoot Kimi Raikkonen dan achter me als tweede."

"Lewis probeert de druk bij mij te leggen, maar ik voel geen druk omdat ik niets te verliezen heb. Met de steun van mijn thuispubliek kan het alleen maar een mooie laatste zondag van het seizoen worden.
