Opnieuw Ferrari-test voor Valentino Rossi

Volgens de Gazetta dello Sport zal MotoGP-kampioen Valentino Rossi over twee weken op het circuit van Mugello testen voor Ferrari. Op 20 en 21 november zal de 29-jarige Italiaan plaatsnemen in een van de scharlakenrode bolides. Op die manier wil Ferrari met Rossi diens zesde MotoGP-titel vieren. De test is volgens Ferrari just for fun. Ferrari-president Luca di Montezemolo heeft hiervoor toestemming gegeven.

Rossi had eerder al eens aangegeven dat hij in 2005 en 2006 kortstondig heeft overwogen om over te stappen van de tweewielers naar de autosport. Ook toen bood Ferrari de Italiaan een test aan. Ik heb er geen spijt van dat ik het niet gedaan heb, maar ik zou wel willen weten of ik het had gekund.
