McLaren presenteert nieuwe auto in tweede helft januari

Het team van McLaren heeft nog geen precieze presentatiedatum voor de nieuwe MP4-24 vastgesteld, maar het zal in de tweede helft van januari 2009 zijn. Dat onthulde teambaas Ron Dennis. De nieuwe bolide wordt door de titel van Lewis Hamilton gesierd met het startnummer 1.

Dennis: We zijn al vrij ver met onze nieuwe wagen en we zullen hem presenteren in het laatste deel van januari. Toyota en BMW Sauber zijn tot nu toe de enige twee teams die een datum voor hun nieuwe bolides bekend hebben gemaakt. Toyota presenteert de TF109 op 16 januari, BMW Sauber haalt op 20 januari het doek van de F1.09.
