Ferrari krijgt meeste waar voor hun geld, Honda duur uit

Het team van Ferrari heeft het meeste teruggekregen voor haar investeringen in 2008, zo blijkt uit cijfers van Formula Money. De Italiaanse renstal pompte het afgelopen jaar ruim 414 miljoen dollar in het Formule 1-team en kreeg daar 172 punten voor terug. Per punt komt dat uit op een investering van 2,4 miljoen dollar per punt.

Tweede op de lijst staat BMW Sauber, dat 136 punten verdiende en daarvoor 366 miljoen dollar uitgaf. Onderaan staan de twee Japanse renstallen, het puntloze Force India en het failliete Super Aguri. De geschatte Formule 1-uitgave van Toyota bedroeg maar liefst 445 miljoen dollar, het hoogste budget van alle teams, en daarmee kwam het tot 56 punten. Honda spendeerde 398 miljoen dollar en scoorde 14 punten, wat neer komt op meer dan 28 miljoen dollar per punt.

Deze analyse geeft slechts een deel weer van de \"waarde\" dat een team terugkrijgt voor zijn investeringen. Ik zou ook graag eens een lijst van geschatte inkomsten uit F1 (reclame gelden, etc.) vs totale kosten willen zien.

Best grappig als je die getallen zo leest, als je kijkt naar Mclaren en Toyota denk je: \"och, daar zit niet zo veel tussen\"
Als je nog een keer goed kijkt is dat gewoon 12 miljoen dollar. Eigenlijk ziekelijk veel geld wat er in de Formule 1 omgaat, haha :D
