Eerste testdag Sebastian Vettel bij Red Bull begint met brand

De eerste testdag van Sebastian Vettel bij Red Bull Racing is begonnen met vuur. De Duitser, vandaag voor het eerst als racecoureur actief voor het Oostenrijkse team, begon de dag niet goed. Bij het naar binnen rijden van de pits moest Vettel noodgedwongen zijn RB4 stilzetten doordat de achterkant in de brand vloog.

Veel vlammen kwamen aan de zijkant van de wielen eruit. Onder andere de remmen stonden in de brand waarbij veel rook vrij kwam. Nadat de brandblussers er aan te pas waren gekomen werd de wagen weer terug gebracht naar de pitbox.
