De la Rosa laat zich niet gek maken door Force India-geruchten

Sinds Force India een samenwerkingsverband sloot met McLaren-Mercedes gonst het van de geruchten over het rijdersduo voor 2009. Paul di Resta en Pedro de la Rosa worden genoemd als mogelijke vervangers voor Giancarlo Fisichella of Adrian Sutil. Voor De la Rosa zijn geruchten niets nieuws: de Spanjaard is gepokt en gemazeld in de wereld van de Formule 1.

Hij laat zijn hoofd dan ook niet op hol brengen door speculaties. De la Rosa in AS: Het gaat zijn zoals het gebeurt, we zien het wel. Mijn werk is testen voor McLaren en ik ben dankbaar dat ik vorige week in Barcelona twee dagen voor Force India mocht rijden. Het waren twee intensieve dagen en we hebben wel een miljoen dingen uitgeprobeerd. Maar met mijn ervaring weet ik dat ik me nu niet opeens dingen moet gaan inbeelden.
