Alleen Toyota betaalt rekeningen altijd op tijd

Als het op tijd betalen van rekeningen een graadmeter is of een team in de Formule 1 zal blijven, dan hoeven we ons geen zorgen te maken over Toyota. De Japanse renstal betaalt namelijk alle facturen gemiddeld vijf dagen voor de deadline.

Dat blijkt uit een onderzoek van de Britse groep Dun and Bradstreet, gepubliceerd in de Financial Times. Toyota is ook gelijk het enige team dat alle rekeningen op tijd betaalt. De twee Red Bull-renstallen doen dat in 99 procent van de gevallen.

Force India staat onderaan in het lijstje. De Indiase renstal betaalt 99 procent van de rekeningen niet op tijd, met een gemiddelde van 75 dagen te laat. Williams voldoet gemiddeld elf dagen te laat aan de betalingseisen, net als het inmiddels teruggetrokken Honda.
