Bourdais overweegt terugkeer naar Amerika

Sebastien Bourdais debuteerde dit jaar in de Formule 1 als viervoudig Champ Car-kampioen. Het eerste seizoen van de Fransman in de koningsklasse van de autosport was echter geen onverdeeld succes. Hij maakt nog wel kans op contractverlenging bij Scuderia Toro Rosso, maar hij kijkt, voor het geval dat het nodig is, ook al naar een terugkeer naar Amerika.

Bourdais vertelt in Autosport: Ik sta open voor vrijwel alles. Op dit moment zoek ik gewoon naar een goed programma en Amerika is wat dat betreft een interessante optie. Ik inventariseer de alternatieven voor Formule 1, omdat dat mijn werk is. Ik moet toch een manier vinden om brood op de plank te krijgen, maar dat is op dit moment niet makkelijk. Niemand wil zich vastleggen op een bepaald programma.
