Schumacher hoog op lijst donateurs Clinton Foundation

De naam van Michael Schumacher prijkt hoog op de lijst van donateurs die de Clinton Foundation onlangs heeft gepubliceerd. De oud-president van de Verenigde Staten zorgt er met zijn initiatief voor dat er meer geld beschikbaar komt om bijvoorbeeld AIDS en klimaatverandering tegen te gaan.

Bekend werd dat Schumacher tussen de vijf en tien miljoen dollar heeft overgemaakt naar de William J. Clinton Foundation. De bijdrage van Schumacher, de meest succesvolle en inmiddels gepensioneerde Formule 1-coureur, komt daarmee in dezelfde categorie als die van de regering van Noorwegen.
