Michael Schumacher ziet duel met Valentino Rossi wel zitten

Het zou een geweldig affiche zijn: de zevenvoudig wereldkampioen Formule 1 tegen de achtvoudig wereldkampioen bij de motoren. Michael Schumacher versus Valentino Rossi. Een interessant idee, zo vindt ook Schumacher.

Ik zou het graag tegen hem opnemen in een stadionrace, autos en motoren, dat zou leuk zijn, zegt de Duitser. Valentino heeft bij Formule 1-tests voor Ferrari en in de Rally van Groot-Brittannië bewezen met autos overweg te kunnen en hij is natuurlijk briljant op een motor.

Ik denk daarentegen dat ik hem goed partij zou kunnen bieden op twee wielen. Ik geniet enorm van stadionraces zoals de Race of Champions in het Wembley-stadion van een paar weken geleden en het zou een prachtige uitdaging zijn.
