Vettel raakt gewend aan Red Bull Racing

De verandering van werkomgeving is voor Sebastian Vettel geen probleem. Dat zegt de jonge Duitser zelf. Vorig jaar maakte hij indruk bij Scuderia Toro Rosso en in 2009 moet hij bij Red Bull Racing die stijgende lijn proberen vast te houden. Afgaande op zijn uitspraken vertrouwt de eenmalig Grand Prix-winnaar dat hem dat gaat lukken.

Ik moet nieuwe relaties opbouwen met nieuwe teamleden, maar daar maak ik me geen zorgen over, aldus Vettel op autosport.com. Red Bull Racing heeft veel mensen in dienst en al die werknemers hebben veel potentie. Het is nog een jong team en het zal tijd nodig hebben om elkaar helemaal te vinden, maar ik heb vertrouwen.

Ik voelde me zeer goed op mijn gemak bij Scuderia Toro Rosso. We creëerden iets unieks en het was heel speciaal om met Gerhard Berger, Franz Tost en Giorgio Ascanelli samen te werken. Red Bull Racing is een nieuw team voor me. Het is van dezelfde sponsor, maar de omgeving, de sfeer en de filosofie verschillen enorm. Daar moet je aan wennen. Red Bull Racing heeft veel potentieel en het is aan ons om dat te verzilveren.
