FOTA wil dialoog aangaan met Ecclestone

De FOTA (Formula One Teams Association) uitte eerder de wens voor een groter deel van de televisiegelden, maar houdt zich na de reactie van Bernie Ecclestone nu koest. De commerciële baas van de Formule 1 weigert een groter percentage af te staan en dreigt zelfs met een kleinere hoeveelheid geld voor de teams.

De FOTA wil de discussie met Ecclestone graag aan. Dat vertelde Toyota-directeur John Howett, rechterhand van FOTA-voorzitter Luca di Montezemolo. Wij zijn niet op sensatie en controverses gericht. We geloven dat het verstandiger is om samen te komen en een constructieve dialoog aan te gaan.
