Nieuwe regels gaan bij Renault gepaard met banenverlies

Het team van Renault voelt zich door de nieuwe reglementen gedwongen om ongeveer honderd werknemers te laten gaan. Vooral de aerodynamica-afdeling zou het moeten ontgelden vanwege de restricties op het gebruik van de windtunnel.

Renault bevestigde de reorganisatie tegenover ESPN Racing-Live.com. Het is een consequente van de regelwijzigingen en bestaat uit het schrappen van een aantal banen. Een comité is effectief bezig met het op gang brengen van de reorganisatie.
