Ecclestone nauw betrokken bij redding Honda-team

Voor Bernie Ecclestone is het belangrijk dat de Formule 1-grid uit een acceptabel aantal autos blijft bestaan. Daarom is de commerciële baas van de koningsklasse van de autosport nauw betrokken bij de redding van het Honda-team.

Die renstal is op zoek naar een nieuwe eigenaar en Ecclestone probeert te helpen. Ik help bij de redding van het Honda-team. Ik speel daarin de rol van bemiddelaar, aldus de Engelsman in de Duitse krant Sport Bild.
