Frans parlement schrapt goedkeuring nieuw circuit

Het Frans parlement heeft de goedkeuring voor de bouw van een nieuwe Formule 1-circuit nabij Flins-sur-Seine teniet gedaan. De Franse Senaat stemde eerder deze week wel in met het plan, maar een comité van Kamerleden heeft die beslissing nu herroepen.

De redenen daarvoor zijn politieke tegenstanders en milieuorganisaties, die het een aanslag vinden op de landbouwgrond rond Flins-sur-Seine. Franse media berichten dat de regering vandaag bijeenkomt om deze kwestie verder te bespreken.
