McLaren: "Boetes geen verrassing, nu streep onder spionagezaak"

De rechtbank van Modena legde gisteren boetes op aan vier McLaren-medewerkers die betrokken waren bij het spionageschandaal met Ferrari eind 2007. De Britse renstal had al rekening gehouden met de straffen en wil nu een punt achter de hele zaak zetten.

Een woordvoerder van McLaren deelde mee: De uitkomst van de zaak in Italië is slechts een formalisering van hetgeen we al afgesproken hadden. Het is dus geen verrassing voor ons. Er is eindelijk een streep onder deze zaak gezet.
