Ross Brawn: "Alle reden om optimistisch te blijven"

Het Honda-team heeft nog altijd vertrouwen dat een nieuwe eigenaar gevonden gaat worden. Autofabrikant Honda is pessimistisch over de zoektocht naar een koper, maar teambaas Ross Brawn laat zich daardoor niet uit het veld slaan.

Auto Motor und Sport bericht namelijk dat de autos al aangepast zijn om er Mercedes-motoren in te monteren. Brawn zegt dan ook: We hebben goede redenen om optimistisch te blijven. We hebben alleen groen licht nodig en dan kunnen we gaan.

Hetzelfde blad meldt ook dat David Richards toch weer in beeld is als onderdeel van een koop door de teamleiding zelf. Honda Racing-directeur Nick Fry zou buiten spel gezet worden en Richards zou in dat geval zijn plek overnemen.
