Rosberg: "In 2010 wil ik absoluut in een topauto zitten"

Voor welk team Nico Rosberg na komend seizoen zijn kunsten zal vertonen hangt voor een groot gedeelte af van wat zijn huidige werkgever Williams dit jaar weet te presteren. Doet de Britse een aanval op de top, dan blijft de Duitser waarschijnlijk. Maar kan hij met de FW31 niks uitrichten, dan vertrekt hij.

Rosberg wil in 2010 namelijk vlammen. Voor mij is 2009 een belangrijk jaar, vooral omdat ik successen wil behalen in mijn sport. Daarom race ik. Ik hoop dit jaar al een auto te hebben om goed mee te presteren. Dat is mogelijk en ik ben hoopvol. Is dat niet het geval, dan moet ik mijn toekomst overdenken, want in 2010 wil ik absoluut in een topauto zitten.

Mijn wens is dat ik dat bij Williams kan. Het zou voor mij enorm speciaal zijn om met dit team successen te boeken. Ik kan goed opschieten met iedereen van het team en het zou geweldig zijn om samen de top te bereiken. Dat zou een geweldig gevoel opleveren, dus ik hoop dat ik met Williams kan groeien.
