Melbourne maakt zich op voor nieuw miljoenenverlies

De Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC) verwacht dit jaar opnieuw geen winst te maken. Sterker nog, het recordverlies van 20 miljoen euro in 2008 wordt waarschijnlijk overtroffen, men houdt rekening met 25 miljoen euro verlies.

En dat ondanks de verwachting van meer dan 300.000 toeschouwers over het hele weekend in Melbourne. AGPC-directeur Drew Ward laat niets aan onduidelijkheid over: We verwachten geen winst te maken met het evenement.
