Jean Todt heeft al zijn functies bij Ferrari neergelegd. De Fransman die succesvol was als teambaas is opgestapt bij het Italiaanse merk en de renstal. Dat nieuws maakte Ferrari-president Luca di Montezemolo bekend.

Jean Todt is een van de belangrijkste mensen bij Ferrari geweest in de afgelopen vijftien jaar. Kwaliteit en passie karakteriseerden zijn werk en hij heeft mij, het hele bedrijf en iedereen die Ferrari een warm hart toedraagt voor zich gewonnen.

Ik wens hem het allerbeste voor de toekomst, waarvan ik hoop dat hij er op persoonlijk en professioneel vlak voldoening uit weet te halen. Al onze jaren samen, met zeges en moeilijke tijden, hebben een onbreekbare band tussen Jean en Ferrari gesmeed, aldus Di Montezemolo.
