FIA voert in 2010 verlaging superlicentieprijs door

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft gehoor gegeven aan de kritiek van de coureurs en zal volgend jaar een prijsverlaging voor superlicenties doorvoeren. Dat zijn leden van rijdersvakbond GPDA en FIA-voorzitter Max Mosley overeen gekomen. Hoeveel de kosten voor een superlicentie in 2010 bedragen is nog niet duidelijk.

De FIA meldt in een verklaring: Als resultaat van een positieve bijeenkomst tussen FIA-president Max Mosley en afgevaardigden van de GPDA zal een voorstel bij de World Motor Sport Council ingediend worden om de superlicentieprijzen voor volgend jaar te herzien. Een lagere prijs past wat dat betreft precies in het plaatje van kostenreducties voor 2010. Een aantal andere kwesties kwam nog ter sprake en de FIA zal voortaan op regelmatige basis met de GPDA samenkomen om een constructieve dialoog in stand te houden.
