FIA verhoogt maximale snelheid in pits van Albert Park

De coureurs mogen aanstaande zondag tijdens de Grand Prix van Australië met maximaal 100 kilometer per uur door de pitstraat van Albert Park rijden. Die aanpassing voerde de internationale autosportbond FIA door.

Vorig jaar was de maximaal toegestane snelheid tijdens de race in Melbourne 80 kilometer per uur. Voor de vrije trainingen en kwalificatie blijft de snelheidslimiet voor in de pits van 60 kilometer per uur gehandhaafd.
