Toyota tevreden met verdict stewards

Het team van Toyota kan voorlopig opgelucht adem halen. De TF109 van de Japanse renstal is zowel door de internationale autosportbond FIA als de stewards in Melbourne legaal bevonden. Dit ondanks een protest van concurrenten tegen de diffuser van de wagen.

Toyota Motorsport-voorzitter Tadashi Yamahina: We zijn verheugd met de beslissing van de stewards, al willen we er verder geen commentaar op geven. Het belooft een geweldige Australische Grand Prix te worden en wij kijken uit naar morgen en het moment dat de actie echt gaat beginnen.
