Jarno Trulli maakt zich zorgen om bandenslijtage

Het team van Toyota stond er aan het einde van de tweede vrije training in Melbourne goed bij, maar de Japanse renstal heeft ook zorgen. De slijtage van de banden is het grootste probleem volgens coureur Jarno Trulli. Het is moeilijk, want eigenlijk is geen van de beschikbare banden geschikt voor deze race.

De Italiaan gaat verder: De zachte band is te zacht en de harde band is te hard. Het voelt dus eigenlijk nooit prettig. Het duurt met het harde banden vrij lang voordat je die aan de gang krijgt en de zachte banden zijn na drie rondjes al op. De slijtage is echt ongelooflijk. Het is moeilijk werken met deze banden. Een bandenwissel verandert de balans compleet, je weet gewoon niet wat er gebeurt. We hebben twee banden die allebei niet goed werken en het gaat een lastig weekend worden.
