Olympique Lyon verbindt zich aan Superleague Formula

Olympique Lyon heeft zich als eerste Franse voetbalclub aan de Superleague Formula verbonden. Het veld voor komend seizoen bestaat daardoor uit negentien autos. Olivier Bernadeau, commercieel directeur van Olympique Lyon: De Superleague Formula staat op het punt om uit te groeien tot een grote internationale competitie tussen voetbalclubs en daar mag Olympique Lyon niet ontbreken.

Hij vervolgt: We hebben het eerste seizoen nauwlettend gevolgd en we vonden het eigenlijk meteen een goed concept. Er bestaat geen ander kampioenschap waarin je de club en je land kan verdedigen tegen achttien andere clubs van over de hele wereld. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat de fans ons naar het circuit zullen volgen om ons raceteam aan te moedigen. We zijn al zeven jaar achter elkaar Frans kampioen en hopen nu een Superleague Formula-titel aan onze erelijst toe te voegen.
