Sepang baalt van tanende steun van Maleisische overheid

De Maleisische overheid bekommert zich niet echt meer om de Grand Prix van Maleisië en het circuit van Sepang. Dat zegt circuitbaas Razlan Razali in de New Straits Times. De kaartverkoop loopt terug en aan promotie wordt weinig meer gedaan.

Razali: We kunnen niet meer doen. Wij hebben simpelweg niet de middelen om Kuala Lumpur tot Formule 1-stad om te toveren. Het ministerie van Toerisme doet niets, terwijl dit evenement toch van grote waarde voor hen kan zijn. Het lijkt wel alsof ze de Formule 1-race aan de kant hebben geschoven.
