Na de Grand Prix van Australië gooide F1Today.nl een poll online om te zien of de bezoekers het team van Brawn GP meteen tot titelfavoriet zouden benoemen. Van de bijna 4200 stemmen vond 56 procent het echter te vroeg om die conclusie te trekken. Of ze dat na de Maleisische Grand Prix, die opnieuw door Brawn GP gewonnen werd, nog steeds vinden, is maar de vraag. 29 procent dacht na Melbourne al dat Brawn GP voor het kampioenschap kan gaan.

De nieuwe poll gaat over de nieuwe aanvangstijdstippen die in Australië en Maleisië geïntroduceerd werden. De zogenaamde twilight-races beginnen om 17.00 uur lokale tijd om de Europese televisiekijker tegemoet te komen. Het leidde al tot veel weerstand. In Melbourne klaagden coureurs over de laaghangende zon, op Sepang werd de race geholpen door een fikse regenbui gestaakt. Is dat latere tijdstip wel nodig?
