Sepang dient verzoek in voor vroegere starttijd

Het circuit van Sepang gaat werk maken van een eerdere starttijd voor de Grand Prix van Maleisië. Afgelopen zondag begon de race om 17.00 uur lokale tijd, maar dat is niet goed bevallen. De wedstrijd haalde het einde niet vanwege de hevige regen en de duisternis.

Sepang-baas Razlan Razali: Wij vinden het absoluut nodig om een gunstiger aanvangstijdstip voor te stellen. De vraag is hier of we genoeg daglicht hebben en zondag was dat niet het geval. Niet alleen de fans waren teleurgesteld met de verkorte race, maar iedereen in de Formule 1 verloor geld.
