Robert Kubica rijdt vrije trainingen in Sjanghai met KERS

BMW Sauber-rijder Robert Kubica rijdt morgen voor het eerst sinds de seizoensstart met KERS in zijn F1.09. Teamgenoot Nick Heidfeld beschikte in Australië en Maleisië al over het energie hergebruikende systeem. Kubica gaat de vrije trainingen in Sjanghai gebruiken om te kijken of KERS hem ook profijt oplevert.

We gaan het testen en dan zien we wel, begint de Pool. Vanuit ons oogpunt was het een voordeel in Melbourne en Sepang. Op mijn auto levert KERS misschien meer problemen op dan bij andere rijders vanwege mijn lengte en gewicht, maar ik hoop dat de voordelen groter zijn dan de nadelen. De balans is het grootste vraagteken. Van de balans en de grip hangt veel af. We zullen zien.
