150 banen op de tocht bij Formule 1-team van Toyota

De Formule 1-renstal van Toyota neemt voor het einde van het jaar afscheid van maximaal 150 werknemers. Dat onthulde teamdirecteur John Howett in de krant Express. Het banenverlies is een direct gevolg van de kostenbesparende maatregelen.

Door het testverbod en beperking van het windtunnelgebruik zijn minder arbeidskrachten nodig. Howett: Ik schat dat we voor het einde van het jaar tussen de honderd en 150 personeelsleden minder hebben dan aan het begin van het jaar.
