Zandstormen vormen bedreiging voor Grand Prix van Bahrein

BMW Sauber, Ferrari en Toyota hadden er tijdens de test in februari al last van, komend weekend maakt de rest van de teams wellicht mee wat het is om getroffen te worden door een zandstorm. De lokale weersvoorspellingen melden dat op zondag de grootste kans op opstuivend zand bestaat.

De teams en coureurs kijken na twee door regen geteisterde races uit naar een droge wedstrijd en regen zal het probleem niet vormen in Bahrein. Het wordt heet en de kans op neerslag is nihil. De problemen komen nu uit een andere hoek, lokale weersverwachtingen melden een of twee mogelijke zandstormen tijdens komend weekend.
