VT2: Rosberg opnieuw aan kop na vrijdag

Als er een kampioenschap opgesteld zou worden voor de best presterende coureurs op vrijdagen , dan zou Nico Rosberg daarin op de eerste plaats staan. De Williams-coureur is dit seizoen de te kloppen man in de vrije trainingen en ook in Bahrein was hij de snelste. De tijd van de Duitser is bovendien sneller dan de beste tijd van vanochtend.

Met Renault-rijder Fernando Alonso, Toyota-coureur Jarno Trulli en Sebastian Vettel van Red Bull Racing bezetten vier verschillende teams de eerste vier plekken. Zorgwekkend voor de fans van Ferrari en BMW Sauber is de snelheid van de betreffende renstallen. Raikkonen en Massa kwamen niet verder dan de zestiende en achttiende tijd, terwijl Kubica en Heidfeld respectievelijk de zeventiende en twintigste tijd noteerden. Het veld zat echter opnieuw zeer dicht bij elkaar, het verschil tussen Rosberg en Heidfeld bedroeg slechts 1,4 seconde.

Lewis Hamilton was de man in de tweede training met de meeste excursies naast de baan achter zijn naam. De McLaren-coureur ging wijd in bochten 8, 10 en 15. Renault-rijder Nelson Piquet reed zijn voorvleugel los op de kerbstones in bocht 7 en reed daarna volgas door over het rechte stuk, wat spectaculaire beelden met opspattende vonken opleverde. De Braziliaan ging later nog in de rondte in bocht 10. Sebastien Buemi had in dezelfde bocht de uitloopstrook nodig en Sebastian Vettel ging in bocht 15 door het zand.

Rosberg, Alonso en Sutil zetten hun tijden in een heel korte stint. Als je die eruit haalt dan ziet de lijst er weer een stuk \"normaler\" uit. Dan staan de Toyota\'s, Red Bulls en Brawns gewoon weer vooraan.

Ik denk dat deze vrije training niets zegt,maar ik vind het wel opvallend dat de bmw\'s en de ferarri\'s strak onderaan staan. Wel een zeer nettte tijd van Sutil,ik hoop dat de updates ze eindelijk wat verder naar voren brengen. go Force India

Ohoh, ik hoop toch echt dat de Ferrari\'s een boel brandstof aan boord hadden, anders ziet het er wel slecht uit zeg! Het mooiste contrast is nog wel de BMW\'s! Eerste vt nog bovenaan, nu helemaal onderaan! En Alonso en Trulli precies andersom...

ik was bang dat juist massa ver voorin te vinden zou zijn omdat hij altijd wel goed gaat hier. Maar zo te zien word het echt niks met ferrari dit seizoen..
het is nog vrijdag maar ok
de topteams van vorig jaar lekker onderaan
Niet erg zeg ik persoonlijk, dit is leuk voor de sport!
