Ecclestone zet deur voor Silverstone weer op een kier

Nu de stapel problemen voor Donington Park alsmaar groeit, heeft Bernie Ecclestone zijn hardnekkige standpunt dat Silverstone geen enkele kans meer maakt op de Britse Grand Prix enigszins herzien. De deur is op een kier gezet voor het voormalige vliegveld.

Dan moet Silverstone wel aan de wensen van Ecclestone voldoen. De commerciële baas van de Formule 1 meldde in The Times: Als ze doen wat ze allang hadden moeten doen en ook al vijf jaar beloven te gaan doen, dan zullen we het overwegen. We hebben niks tegen Silverstone.
