Formule 2-coureurs mogen twee slechtste resultaten schrappen

De internationale autosportbond FIA heeft een minimale aanpassing aan het puntensysteem voor de Formule 2 doorgevoerd. Coureurs mogen hun twee slechtste resultaten van het seizoen schrappen, de veertien beste resultaten tellen.

De FIA nam deze maatregel vanwege de korte voorbereidingsperiode op het tot leven gewekte Formule 2-kampioenschap. De bond wil de invloed van eventuele onbetrouwbaarheid beperken. Het Formule 2-seizoen begint over vier weken in Valencia.
