Pirelli, Renault en Dallara verbonden aan GP3

Dit jaar keert de Formule 2 terug, volgend jaar ontstaat weer een nieuwe opstapklasse. De GP3, een klein broertje voor de GP2, gaat in 2010 van start. De ontwikkeling aan de auto verloopt volgens schema. Dallara zorgt voor het chassis, Pirelli levert de banden en Renault verzorgt de motoren.

GP3-baas Bruno Michel: We hebben de GP3 gebaseerd op de succesvolle filosofie van de GP2, namelijk een competitieve auto produceren, een kosteneffectieve serie creëren, als bijprogramma voor de Formule 1 acteren en een mooie show verzorgen. Ik ben verheugd om onze hoogwaardige partners te verwelkomen en ik weet zeker dat we samen een serie op kunnen bouwen van dezelfde hoge kwaliteit als de GP2.
