Lewis Hamilton dicht Button meeste kans op titel toe

Regerend wereldkampioen Lewis Hamilton lijkt zich dit jaar niet te kunnen mengen in de titelstrijd. De McLaren-coureur kijkt na vijf races al tegen een achterstand van 32 punten aan. Zijn MP4-24 is simpelweg niet opgewassen tegen de autos van Brawn GP en Red Bull Racing. De Engelsman tipt nu zijn landgenoot Jenson Button voor de titel.

Hamilton gunt het de Brawn GP-rijder wel. Ik denk dat dit dé grote kans voor Jenson is, vertrouwde Hamilton Reuters toe. Als er dan iemand anders moet winnen, dan het liefst Jenson. Het zou een geweldig verhaal zijn en ik wens hem het beste. Brawn GP zal ook in Monaco sterk voor de dag komen en die toevoegen aan zijn lijstje zal ook voor Jenson heel speciaal zijn.
