Ferrari overweegt verdere juridische stappen

Het team van Ferrari neemt geen genoegen met de uitspraak in de rechtszaak tegen de nieuwe reglementen voor 2010. De Italiaanse renstal vocht de regels aan en werd in het ongelijk gesteld. Ferrari verklaart nu samen met de internationale autosportbond FIA op zoek te gaan naar een oplossing voor de rel, maar sluit ook verdere juridische stappen niet uit.

We evalueren of we verdere juridische stappen moeten ondernemen, maar tegelijkertijd wil Ferrari bevestigen dat het samen met de FOTA, de FIA en de commerciële rechthebbenden ervoor wil zorgen dat voor iedereen dezelfde regels gelden met enige stabiliteit in de reglementen. Ook blijven we werken aan de ingezette lijn van kostenbesparingen.

Mochten alle partijen niet tot een overeenkomst komen, dan zal Ferrari zoals de directie eerder al aangaf zich terugtrekken uit de Formule 1. Wij wensen niet mee te doen in een kampioenschap dat afbreuk doet aan de status van koningsklasse van de autosport. Bij dit scenario gaat Ferrari op zoek naar races die ons merk wel waard zijn en passen bij onze innovatie en technologisch onderzoek, aldus Ferrari.

samen spanne zeg ik ,t is al meer donderen geweest met de regel geving

Als Ferrari (en de rest) goed nadenkt, moeten ze even ruig doen en voet bij stuk houden. Het kan toch niet zo zijn dat de FIA hiermee weg gaat komen en dat er straks een Formule 1 is zonder de grote teams van de afgelopen jaren. De heer Mosley zit er diep in en heeft achter de schermen een te groot belang in de auto-industrie. Maar als zelfs die teams beginnen te klagen, moet er toch ergens een lichtje gaan branden.
