Peter Kox teamgenoot van Verstappen bij Lola-Aston Martin

Peter Kox is ook door Lola-Aston Martin vastgelegd om een van de drie wagens te besturen tijdens de 24 uur van Le Mans. Hiermee worden Kox en Verstappen teamgenoot bij Aston Martin Racing voor Le Mans, al rijden ze niet samen in dezelfde wagen. Kox vervangt de Portugees Ramos.

Verstappen rijdt met Davidson en Turner in de wagen met vermoedelijk startnummer 007. Kox zal rijden met teamgenoten Hall en Primat. Kox: Natuurlijk is dit super! Ik blij met dit stoeltje. Het had te maken met afvallen van Portugese rijder Miguel Ramos, daardoor kwam ik in beeld bij Aston Martin.
