FIA wees verzoek voor uitstellen inschrijfdeadline af

Teamverbond FOTA en de internationale autosportbond FIA zijn nog druk bezig met gesteggel over de reglementen voor 2010, maar ondertussen nadert de deadline voor teams om zich in te schrijven voor volgend seizoen snel. Aanstaande vrijdag loopt de inschrijftermijn af.

De teams hebben geprobeerd om die deadline twee of vier weken uit te stellen, maar de FIA wilde daar niks van weten. Renault-teambaas Flavio Briatore vertrouwde de Spaanse pers toe: We hebben het gevraagd, zonder succes. Elk jaar is de deadline in november en nu is het opeens in mei. Ik begrijp niet waarom dat is.
